KOLKATA: Textiles Minister Smriti Irani on Saturday stated that the COVID-19 pandemic has thrown up alternatives and the sector ought to commercialise this scope.

She stated that the textiles sector is usually on the lookout for subsidy but just one ought to keep in intellect that subsidy is taxpayers’ funds.
