The Improved Cotton Initiative (BCI) has introduced that Greek Agro-two Integrated Administration Expectations have been correctly benchmarked as equal to Improved Cotton Common Procedure which will encourage extra sustainable Greek cotton farming. Greece is the major cotton-producing state in Europe, with extra than 45,000 registered cotton farmers.
Farmers qualified less than the Agro-two requirements who elect to take part in the BCI programme will now be qualified to sell their cotton as Improved Cotton from the 2020-21 cotton season.
