A BGMEA delegation headed by president Faruque Hassan produced the call through a assembly with NBR chairman Abu Hena Mohammad Rahmatul Muneem.

The affiliation also termed for simplifying business processes like the inclusion of new raw components and other similar components with their harmonised process (HS) code in the bond licenses.

Hassan mentioned while there is possibility to elevate garment exports, the market faces many problems. Business treatments need to be simplified for the attire business to stay competitive in the international market place, he stated, trying to get NBR assist in this regard.
