This follows the current announcement that the company’s other fairs to be held in China in the coming two months, Prolight + Audio Guangzhou, SPS – Industrial Automation Honest Guangzhou (SIAF) and Asiamold in Guangzhou, and Toy & Edu, Toddler & Stroller and Licensing China in Shenzhen – have also been postponed until later in the year, according to Messe Frankfurt.
“Messe Frankfurt has been an active participant in the China industry for more than thirty yrs now, so we stand totally behind the government’s attempts to handle the outbreak. This consists of the current suspension of huge-scale trade and financial gatherings in a selection of metropolitan areas, so with this and the wellbeing of all our stakeholders in head, we have created the final decision to reschedule our approaching textile fairs in Shanghai to a later date. Our groups are making every single hard work to locate suitable possibilities, but we will only make the final decision to go ahead with these fairs when it is deemed secure to do so,” Wendy Wen, senior typical manager of Messe Frankfurt explained.
Intertextile Shanghai Clothing Fabrics is co-organised by Messe Frankfurt the sub-council of textile marketplace, CCPIT and the China Textile Data Centre. The co-organisers of Yarn Expo Spring are Messe Frankfurt and CCPIT. Intertextile Shanghai Residence Textiles is co-organised by Messe Frankfurt and CCPIT and the China Residence Textile Association (CHTA). All three fairs are held concurrently with the PH Price and Chic textile fairs, which will also be postponed.
