MIDLAND The Midland RockHounds experienced a tricky afternoon after staying swept in the two games of a doubleheader versus the Wichita Wind Surge Sunday at Momentum Lender Ballpark.

Midland was shut out three- in the 1st activity prior to falling 10-4 in the next activity.

The doubleheader came about after Saturday’s activity was postponed due to weather conditions.

All three operates from Wichita in the 1st activity came from solo home operates by Wilbis Santiago, Aaron Whitefield and Andrew Bechtold, respectively.

Midland was held to just 5 hits with only a single additional foundation strike on a leadoff double by Chase Calabuig in the fifth inning.

Just after the Wind Surge (28-twenty total) took a different three- direct into the sixth inning, the RockHounds rallied to tie the activity with a three-operate sixth inning.

Wichita finally pulled absent with a 7-operate seventh inning and Midland (22-26) was not able to recover.

Nick Allen and Jake Suddleson experienced two hits each and every in the next activity to direct the RockHounds.
