The tradeshows, which ran from 11-13 January in Florence, recorded 4,900 purchasers in attendance at midday yesterday (13 January). The organisers have believed that, when adding alongside one another the other customer types like brokers, reps and suppliers, the complete selection of visitors achieved all over 8,000.
Organisers said about 30% of buyers came from abroad. At the menswear trade show Pitti Uomo, the top 10 overseas countries for quantity of potential buyers were The Netherlands, France, Spain, Germany, British isles, Switzerland, Belgium, Turkey, United states of america, and Russia.
Pitti Uomo presented 548 menswear collections, and Pitti Bimbo presented 170 collections.
Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine, mentioned: “We are happy with the way items went at the Fortezza da Basso, from Tuesday [11 January] to now [13 January].
“But this time, I would desire the operators to remark on this Pitti Uomo. For starters, I want to thank the exhibitors who thought in our do the job and our potential to manage the truthful in protection without compromising our consolidated criteria of variety and excellent. Jointly with the new collections, they brought great vitality and enthusiasm.
I also thank the Italian and international buyers who made the decision to vacation in this especially advanced moment and have accomplished so with the proper spirit, careful but relaxed and determined. And I want to express our gratitude to the many journalists who arrived to Florence because they did not only report, share tales, and evaluate merchandise. Instead, they have been bearers and witnesses of active and communal participation, a good feeling. Last but not least, I deeply thank all the people today at Pitti who have worked properly and hard, our collaborators of all kinds, the fitters, the metropolis products and services, the eating places, the accommodations, Florence. We all deserved this Pitti.”
