As part of a campaign to motivate men and women to open up and speak extra freely about their mental health and fitness, a mom of 3 from Bishop’s Stortford has co-composed a e book with 14 other inspirational gals.
Amy Fleckney has shared her very own story as part of anthology The Women Who Refused to Quit, which was released on February 4 to coincide with Time to Chat Working day. It aims to start off conversations about mental health and fitness and assistance stop the stigma that surrounds it.
In her chapter, Amy chronicles how she solitary-handedly raised her two small children after leaving an abusive marriage. She describes a “relentless time of penny pinching” and describes being forced to move into a mobile house near Waltham Abbey to make finishes meet.
