Natalie Portman shares support for female directors snubbed by the Oscars by wearing cape embroidered with their names

Natalie Portman designed a poignant information on the pink carpet at this year’s Academy Awards as she sported a Dior cape embroidered with the names of every girl who was not nominated at the ceremony.

The actress, who herself has received an Oscar, revealed she desired to recognise gals in a “subtle” way as she took to the pink carpet in the outfit which showcased names together with Tiny Females director Greta Gerwig and director Lulu Wang.
